Vision Support

SAVI has been offering support to Surrey visually impaired people since 1922. We are now a major provider of services to partially sighted, blind and deafblind people. We have a Surrey County Council contract to provide statuary services as well as charity services. Find out about all the different services that we offer by continuing on to our Vision Support section.

To include visually impaired people with decisions on services and advice on their needs, we have developed focus group meetings and e-mail groups of service users. One of which is called the Progress In Sight Reference Group.

Professionals Services

SAVI provides services to other organisations, companies, charities and individual professionals who which to improve their knowledge or have support when working with visually impaired people. This included training, suggestions on accessible environment and how to provide information in a way people can read. If you need help with transcribing information into Braille or audio, continue on to our Professionals Services page to see all we can do to help.
