SAVI's Resource Centre is acknowledged to be one of the most comprehensively equipped in Britain. We stock a wide range of equipment to help visually impaired people available on line from our shop which our staff and clients have found to be useful aids for coping with everyday tasks.
All visits to the Resource Centre must be booked in advance. It can take an hour or more to really take things in, and have a hands onlook at items of interest. SAVI finds that visitors to the Resource Centre often come with their partner, friend or family escort, and they are welcome to participate in the experience. If a personal companion is not available to assist you with your visit, SAVI will endeavour to provide you with a volunteer driver.
