Resource Centre Manager
This is Andy Cook, Resource Centre Manager at SAVI.
Andy began working at SAVI in April 1996. He was the first full time manager in the Resource Centre, which had previously been run by part time staff. This has allowed us to dedicate more time to give a comprehensive visit to our clients. Apart from his appointments, Andy is responsible for the ordering of equipment, stock control, invoicing and posting equipment to clients, and general day to day running.
He also oversees his assistant Maralyn Foote who helps in all aspects of the Resource Centre and also organises the Volunteer drivers for the Communication Classes based around Surrey, and other visits where applicable. Maralyn joined SAVI in September 2001 as a general assistant to Andy, but over the years has increased her role to cover a mulitude of other tasks including reception.
