Do you know how to make reasonable adjustments as required by the Disability Discrimination Act? You need to. It is the Law!

Our training courses enable you to understand and anticipate the needs of visually impaired people. We raise awareness of the needs of visually impaired and deafblind people.

The programmes have been designed by specialists and including people who are visually impaired.

DVD/Video; Visual Impairment and Deafblind Awareness

SAVI has produced DVD/Video which gives an introduction to Visual Impairment and Deafblindness. Follow the Awareness DVD to learn more about this training tool.

The DVD explains the different sorts of visual impairment and how best to assist a visually impaired or deafblind person. Whilst it does not supersede the value of practical training, the DVD is an excellent induction training tool to become more aware of the needs of visually impaired and deafblind people

The DVD has a running time of approximately 13 minutes and costs £55.00, plus £1.20 p&p. Discounts are available for other charities. To order your copy on approval, please contact SAVI's Training department on 01372 377701 or e-mail info@sa-vi.org.uk
