On 23rd September SAVI held an open day for agencies who provide other services in the county to meet people who have a visual impairment and learn how it impacts on their lives as well as finding out more about what SAVI provides on behalf of Surrey County Council. During the day, SAVI captured the experiences of a number of people who had lost their sight to illustrate the real effect of sight loss. The videos will be a powerful tool for SAVI to show other service providers and agencies the underlying need for thorough and timely intervention at the earliest possible stage and good quality emotional support. Take a look at the videos here.
