Giving made easy
SAVI is one of the first to use a new, free text message service to raise funds.
SAVI will be amongst the first charities in the country to use its own, unique personalised text code, SAVI22, to raise funds using JustTextGiving by Vodafone.
This is a brand new, free service for charities, that has no set up or fundraising costs for charities, no network charges for people making donations and every penny donated goes to charity. Gift Aid can also be added to donations.
From today, supporters of SAVI can make donations of up to £10 by texting SAVI22 and either 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 to 70070 to make their donation. The text message is free and all of the donation will be passed to SAVI.
Lex Daniel of SAVI said: “This is a wonderful way for us to raise money as it’s speedy, simple and spontaneous. Most people have a mobile phone these days so we expect this to be very popular with our supporters.”
There are lots of ways you can give to SAVI and your gift will be used to support the work you have read about in the pages of this website. It will make a real difference to the lives of visually impaired individuals.
You can either Donate online or go to the Donation Form to print off form or send a cheque to the SAVI address.
If you would like to make a regular donation or become a Friend of SAVI, the same amount monthly, quarterly or annually please go to the Standing Order link to print off form and send to SAVI Address.
You may prefer to have a collection box in your home. Many supporters encourage friends and family to support SAVI by putting a small amount in the Box. They also put some in themselves and ask us to empty the box each time it gets filled up.

Thinking of changing your gas or electricity supplier? Go to the Save and Raise price comparison website for an impartial quote and if you do change SAVI recieves 10.50 per for each electricity or gas contract irrespective of how much the customer spends. That's £21 if the customer saves on Gas & Electricity.
