Your Gift will be used to support the work you have read about in the pages of this website. It will make a real difference to the lives of visually impaired individuals. You can either Donate online or go to the Donation Form to print off form or send a cheque to the SAVI address.
If you would like to make a regular donation, the same amount monthly, quarterly or annually please go to the Standing Order link to print off form and send to SAVI Address.
You may prefer to have a collection box in your home. Many supporters encourage friends and family to support SAVI by putting a small amount in the Box.
They also put some in themselves and ask us to empty the box each time it gets filled up.
What your gift can do.
£5 could sponsor a 12 mile round trip to take 3 people to a communication class or to the Resource Centre.
£10 could pay the phone bill for a Phone Friend to contact 6 – 10 isolated visually impaired people during one week
£15 might supply 30 tapes of the quarterly newsletter for visually impaired listeners.
£30 could enable the Benefits Advisor to spend one hour helping to make an application
£50 could fund the Resource Centre running costs for 1 hour
£100 might fund a Volunteer Home Visitor for 1 year
£250 is enough to supply a weekly Communication Class facilitator for 10 weeks
£500 could be used towards the cost of a computer to run specialist software for visually impaired use.
